Combo Form Special Features

Combos on forms help keep user input consistent and quick. You can search and group consistent data for reports. The Combo form lets you maintain many one, two or three field tables without the need for a separate table and form for each combo.

Combo form user to quickly maintain simple tables for drop down combo boxes

  1. Lock selected combos to only allow edits by super users
  2. Set sort order to specify order records appear in combos
  3. Right / Left arrow keys move to next / previous combo
  4. Allow Edit from the calling form. If Status is clicked on WorkOrder form and Status combo was Received, Combo form is opened, set to Status and the Received record is selected for edit.
  5. Comment field for additional text about combo value
  6. Option to show link back to related table with record count
